Vill Riding Stable in Silandro
Your riding holiday in the heart of the Stilfser (Stelvio) National Park
At our Vill Riding Stable in Schlanders (Silandro), we offer special horse experiences for both young and old. Preparing and caring for our horses is a natural part of riding for us, as we bear responsibility for our horses and look after them. We have been a riding business since 1995 and primarily house Haflingers, the typical South Tyrolean horse breed, as well as two ponies.
We take a guided walk at a walk through our Demeter apple orchards.
- For riders from 2 to 99 years old
- No riding experience necessary
- Duration: approx. 30 minutes
Children get to know our ponies in a playful way. They can cuddle them, groom them, and ride a few rounds in our riding arena.
- For children from 2 years old
- Duration: approx. 60 minutes
Children learn how to handle horses correctly, groom and saddle them, as well as their first riding experiences on horseback.
- For children from 7 years old
- No riding experience necessary
- Supervision: at least one person aged 14 or older
- Duration: approx. 60 minutes (30 minutes preparation and 30 minutes riding)
Good and horse-friendly riding requires a high degree of balance, coordination, postural awareness, and concentration skills. We want both sides – rider and horse – to enjoy riding together and not be overtaxed.
- For intermediate and advanced riders
- Group sessions
- Duration: approx. 60 minutes (30 minutes preparation and 30 minutes riding)
We are happy to offer private lessons by arrangement.

Get to know our countryside on horseback.
- For experienced and confident cross country riders from 14 years of age or older
- Meeting point: approx. 30 minutes before the start of the ride
- Horses are groomed independently
- Duration depends on the booking: 1 hour, 2 hours, half day, or full day ride
Please realistically assess your skills or those of your children and, if in doubt, book the lower level. This is not only about a smooth procedure but, above all, about the safety of the participants.

- We ask you to pay at the reception of the Bio-Landhotel Anna before the start of the lesson or ride.
- Participation in our offers and riding is fundamentally at your own risk.
- Helmets are mandatory. For children under 18, it is also advisable, especially on trail rides, to wear a safety vest.
- Weight limit: A horse’s back can only bear a limited load. Since the well-being and health of our horses are important to us, we have set a maximum weight for riders of 85 kg for Haflingers and 40 kg for ponies.
